    May 24, 1980

    John Tonelli dishes the most famous assist in Islanders history, feeding Bob Nystrom on the goal that won the Islanders first Stanley Cup in 1980. The goal comes at 7:11 of overtime in Game Six against the Philadelphia Flyers.
