UBS Arena, the brand new state of the art home for the New York Islanders and Isles Nation, opens on November 20, 2021. The opening of UBS Arena marks a new era in Islanders history and is the only arena in Metro New York built for hockey.

The Islanders beat the New Jersey Devils 4-2 for their first win at UBS Arena. Zach Parise’s first goal as an Islander proves to be the game-winner, while Noah Dobson, Andy Greene and Jean-Gabriel Pageau also score in the historic win.

In 2021, the Islanders organization and fans celebrate the grand opening of the team’s brand new home at UBS Arena. Ownership of the $1.1B arena belongs to the New York Arena Partners, a joint-venture of the New York Islanders, Los Angeles-based Oak View Group and Chicago’s Sterling Equities.
